    All but one of the 50 or so people who spoke at a public hearing about the Eversource proposal to build a high-voltage transmission line between Madbury and Portsmouth were vehemently against the project. Called the Seacoast Reliability Project by Eversource, the utility seeks to build a 12.9-mile 115-kilovolt transmission line that connects the Madbury and Portsmouth electrical substations the company says would provide needed additional energy to the Seacoast region, the fastest growing area in the state.
