Miller and Executive Mark Hackel say a sliver of those millions may go to purchase three condemned homes destroyed by the sinkhole and to reimburse as many as 19 evacuated families for damages and other costs incurred because of the infrastructure failure.

Kevin Clay Fletcher, traveling from PF Chang near the Partridge Creek mall, was crossing the intersection of Romeo Plank and Hall Road when he was hit by a vehicle traveling north on Romeo Plank, according to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office.
