    Police in Lynn are investigating three apparently unrelated fatal heroin overdoses in the city in a 48-hour period. Chief Kevin Coppinger said Sunday he suspects the heroin responsible for the deaths late last week was laced with the painkiller fentanyl, which is often added to increase potency.

After suffering a torn meniscus in his left knee in the first game of the season against Norwell, Kissick came all the way back to rush for 187 yards on 19 carries and a touchdown to lead his squad to a 35-22 win over Littleton in the Division 6 state championship game at Gillette Stadium.
