    A semitrailer jackknifed into the median of Interstate 5, a mile north of the Birch Bay-Lynden Road exit while heading northbound in icy conditions, Thursday morning, Feb. 22.     The CHS Northwest True Value store at 3125 Old Fairhaven Parkway announced it was starting an inventory closeout sale, with the store, which offers hardware, farm, pet and garden products, closing on or before July 1. CHS General Manager Don Eucker said there were two major factors that led to the store closing. At 40,000 square feet, the retail space in Fairhaven Plaza is larger than what the store needs, so it has operated at a loss since 2012.
