    The Lynchburg Humane Society has received a grant of $10,000 to help find homes for 300 pets in just three days. The ASPCA Mega Match-a-thon is presented by Subaru and there will be three days of events and special hours starting October 16. Friday and Saturday hours at the Lynchburg Humane Society will be extended from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. On Sunday the Center for Pets will open early at 9 a.m. and be open until 5 p.m. Along with Humane Society pets being available for adoption - many other rescue groups on site to do adoptions as well.
