    A Lynbrook man was sentenced this week for impersonating an attorney and stealing more than $100,000 from the homeowners he claimed to represent, officials said. Caesar Roberts was sentenced to seven months in jail and ordered to pay $128,824 in restitution, according to Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas.

    A Lynbrook man is charged with impersonating an attorney and stealing more than $100,000 from the people he claimed to represent, authorities said. In this scheme, officials say Caesar Roberts posed as an attorney through the moniker "The Law Office of Caesar Consulting & Advisory Group, Inc." He then allegedly spent the money clients gave him on travel, entertainment and food, according to the Nassau County District Attorney's office.
