    Dreamhouse Theatre continues its 2016 season with the ongoing production of Little Shop of Horrors today at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. The show also will be performed on upcoming weekends through Oct. 30 at the theatre at 1840 Oak Grove Boulevard, just off busy State Road 54. The black box theater seats 111 in a space that once housed the Arthur Rutenberg Design Center. Artistic Bryan D'Onofrio, 47, and his wife, Darci , 46, teamed with Chris and Melissa Van Schaik, another couple they met at Victorious Life Church in Wesley Chapel to help start the theatre.

Danielle Kanas, a sixth-grader at Martinez Middle School in Lutz, competed in discus, shot put, long jump and javelin, other track and field events and swimming.

    A month after a 6-foot-wide, 100-foot deep sinkhole opened along a road in Lake Park, forcing Hillsborough County officials to shutter one of its largest parks, a resolution seemed elusive and the gates across the park's entrances remained locked. The sprawling idyllic preserve was shuttered on Dec. 2 after the county got word that the throat of the sinkhole reached down to what may be a large underground cavern.
