    The Shenandoah Forum announced in a press release on Monday that it and the Luray-based Shenandoah Valley Network are working to raise $15,000 for the preservation of The Knob, a 137-acre parcel of the Massanutten Mountain ridge outside Mount Jackson. Kim Woodwell, executive director of the Shenandoah Forum, said the Woodstock-based nonprofit launched a Facebook fundraising campaign last week and is working with Mount Jackson and other towns to spread the word of the campaign.
