    A joint effort by Trinity County law enforcement officers resulted in three felony drug arrests and the seizure of more than 4 grams of methamphetamine Wednesday. Trinity County Sheriff Woody Wallace said that he, TCSO deputies, and Constable Reggie Olive executed a search warrant on a home on Evie Davidson Road in the Nogales Prairie area Wednesday.

    Deputies with the Angelina County Sheriff's Office arrested a 21-year-old Zavalla man Wednesday in connection to allegations that he had nude pictures of a 14-year-old boy he is accused of sexually assaulting in August of 2016. An Angelina County grand jury indicted Austin Jacob McGee Husband for four counts of sexual assault of a child in connection back in January for having an ongoing sexual relationship with the 14-year-old boy.

    According to DPS, at about 1:20 a.m., troopers responded to and investigated a one vehicle injury crash on FM 2251 about one and a half miles north of Lufkin. The preliminary crash investigation indicates a 2004 Nissan SUV was traveling North on FM 2251 when the vehicle drove off the roadway to the right where it rolled over and subsequently struck a tree.

    Officers with the Lufkin Police Department arrested a 29-year-old woman Thursday morning after she allegedly got into an argument with the man she was living with and attacked his Ford Fusion with a "metal stick," doing more than $10,000 worth of damage to it. Joyce Ann Shedd, of Lufkin, is still being held in the Angelina County Jail on a state-jail felony criminal mischief between $2,500 and $30,000 charge.
