    The Long County Fire Department and sheriff's deputies responded to a fire at the Wingman Motorcycle Club on Macon Street in Ludowici early Thursday morning. It happened shortly before 1 a.m. When deputies arrived, flames were shooting out of the roof, and by the time Long County fire crews arrived, the building was engulfed in flames.

The message was posted on their Facebook page on Monday evening saying, "Due to circumstances that cannot be disclosed, we need to advise everyone that you may or may not have fire protection today until further notice."

    A Glennville man was killed in a head-on collision in Tattnall County Sunday afternoon. According to a report filed by Georgia State Patrol Trooper Howard Brantley of the Reidsville post, the accident occurred on Harmony Church Road shortly after 6 p.m. The report states that Fredi Osorio, 31, of Glennville, was driving a 2000 Ford Ranger westbound when while negotiating a curb, he drifted into the eastbound lane and hit Stefanie Guerrero, 27, of Ludowici, head-on.

    The Long County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to track down a hit and run driver who struck a pedestrian in Ludowici. Investigators said the victim was knocked to the pavement at the intersection of North Macon Street and Mitcham Road.
