    Three dozen fighting roosters were seized and a man was taken into custody when sheriff's deputies served a warrant Wednesday morning on a suspected cockfighting operation in Victorville. The warrant was served by the sheriff's Rural Crimes Task Force at 9:50 a.m. at a residence in the 11300 block of Salem Avenue for evidence of fighting birds, according to a San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department news release.

The sheriff's Marijuana Enforcement Team learned the three locations had outdoor marijuana farms that did not comply with California's medical marijuana law or San Bernardino County's ordinance prohibiting "commercial cannabis activity," according to a press release.
