It was the Upper Lake coaching debut of Daniella Santana and the Cougars didn't disappoint their new coach, grabbing a 2-0 lead in the first half.

In 1992, she became one of the first Certified Nursing Assistants at Meadowood Nursing Center in Clearlake, aiding a number of seniors in the two-room facility. Now, with nearly 100 beds available, Ables is one of the Center's residents after suffering a stroke that has left her unable to walk.
