School district trustee Scott Broomfield announced his resignation effective July 15 and Lexington Elementary School principal Valerie Royaltey-Quandt resigned June 19. Superintendent Diana Abbati said Royaltey-Quandt's resignation was unexpected, but added that "we are taking the necessary steps to ensure a smooth transition."
