He was 87. Goldman's daughter, Jenny, said her father died early Friday in New York due to complications from colon cancer and pneumonia.

    A driver was injured after a Gold Line train collided with her car in Highland Park Friday, Nov. 16. The crash led to a delay in train service. The Los Angeles Police Department didn't have details yet on what led to the collision at Avenue 61 and Figueroa Street, which was reported to authorities shortly after 9 a.m. Metro spokesman Dave Sotero said no one on the train was taken to a hospital.
