The Cowlitz County sheriff's office says Dylan Bunnell of Mulino, Ore., and another boy were driving off-road motorcycles at Riverdale Raceway on Saturday but didn't realize the tracks were temporarily closed for watering to keep dust down.

The Daily News of Longview reports Kalama Police Chief Randy Gibson said it appeared that Theodore Kroll either forgot to set the parking brake on his hot rod or had put the car in gear before working on it.
