    When officers arrived at the scene, they say they were told by witnesses and those involved that a 1997 Chevrolet Blazer, driven by Rowena Hunter Jackson, 79, of Longview, was traveling northbound on the inside lane of Eastman Road at the same time a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Joshua Mike-Allen Sims, 37, of Diana, was traveling southbound in the outside lane. A third vehicle, described as a silver, 2006-10 Hyundai Sonata was traveling north in the outside lane of Eastman Road.

The drugs and cash were located Monday when the Gregg County Organized Drug Enforcement Unit and the Longview SWAT Team served a search warrant at a house in the 200 block of Osborne Street.

    The Texas Department of State Health Services and Cameron County Department of Health and Human Services have identified four additional cases of suspected locally transmitted Zika virus disease in Cameron County. The cases were identified as part of the follow up to the state's first case of Zika likely transmitted by a mosquito in Texas, announced Nov. 28. The additional patients live in very close proximity to the first case.
