    A Long Branch man accused of dealing cocaine in the area may face nearly two decades in prison following his arrest, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office . While executing search warrants of two apartments at 494 Broadway and 407 Morris Avenue, Detectives from the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office Gang and Criminal Enterprise Unit and its Narcotics Strike Force found about $50,000.00 worth of cocaine , nearly $32,000.00 in cash, marijuana, a .22 caliber handgun, large amounts of packaging, weighing materials and drug paraphernalia for the sale and dealing of illegal narcotics.

    A judge's findings on Friday could result in tens of thousands of DWI convictions and penalties in New Jersey being thrown out all because a state trooper didn't properly calibrate a breathalyzer device. Joseph Lisa, a retired state judge who was appointed last year by the state Supreme Court to conduct hearings on this case, on Friday issued a report saying that the trooper's failure to follow one step in the calibration process "calls into question the subsequent validity of breath test results."

    Two Monmouth County residents are in a heap of trouble after they hid 1,200 bags of heroin and 22-grams of cocaine underneath the engine compartment of their pickup truck on the Garden State Parkway in Middletown Wednesday, Daniel Torres of Long Branch and his passenger Alexander Mazza of Eatontown are charged with two counts of possession of CDS and two counts with intent to distribute CDS. An investigation of the 2014 Dodge pickup truck January 24 by responding agencies occurred as the two men were stopped at Exit 109 on the GSP in Middletown.
