According to a news release from the Northern District of Georgia division of the U.S. Attorney's Office, Charles Hubbard, of Loganville, also received three years of supervised release after the nine-year term.

Despite having to replace seven starters and eight seniors off a 30-4 team from the year before, Smith led the Bulldoggs to a 21-12 season this spring, a second consecutive region title and a trip to the state Sweet 16. Smith has now won 227 games in 11 seasons at Winder-Barrow.

    Two people in Barrow County have been arrested after the body of a missing Walton County man was found at their residence earlier this month. Michael Brent Huff, 46, and Jennifer Louise Huff, 46, both of 1051 Fleemand Rd., Hoschton, have been charged with probation violation, tampering with evidence and concealing the death of another in connection with the death of Montez Watson, 32. Watson, who was last seen in early February in Loganville, was found buried on the property and the Huffs went missing.
