    The Log Lane Village Board of Trustees will re-establish the town's rules for when snowplowing will be done by town employees at the regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Town Hall. Those rules likely will include how much snow has to fall before removal operations begin, when town employees are allowed to do the plowing work and where residents can place the snow they remove from their properties and town sidewalks.

    A pole barn lies in ruins after a tornado touched down west of Wiggins on May 9. There were many things that made the news in 2016 in Morgan County, and the Fort Morgan Times will review some of the monthly highlights. Employee rules change: The Log Lane Village Board of Trustees changed the way at least one of the town's employees, the town marshal, is hired and potentially fired, the Times reported April 4. The change made it so only the town clerk, treasurer and municipal judge are consider town officers, making all other positions "at will" employees.
