    An ailing dog, surviving on her own through a year's worth of heat and cold, has finally been captured and she is receiving much needed help with the assistance of Rock City Rescue in Little Rock, Arkansas. On Monday, the rescue group updated their Facebook followers with news of the rescue, "Wonderful news!! Last night, the dog so many people have been trying to catch for weeks was finally caught! She is now under Rock City Rescue's care and saw an emergency vet last night, where it was found that she has a severe case of demodectic mange, cellulitis, her eyes are infected, she has conjunctivitis and her eyelids have folded under.

The shooter is apparently the boyfriend Rafael Gonzalez, by his own admission.
