    A 13-year-old Little River boy was arrested in connection with attempted murder after he fired a gun at least three times at his mother's boyfriend, according to an Horry County Police report. The shooting happened Monday afternoon near the intersection of Highway 90 and Highway 22 after the boy's mother and her boyfriend picked him up early from school because the school believed the boy was "either high or drunk," according to the report.

According to an Horry County Police Report, the shooting incident happened Monday around 3 P.M. at the intersection of Highway 90 and Highway 22. The teens mother told police she was called by his school to pick him up early because was believed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
