    On August 2nd, 2016, the Herkimer County Sheriff's Office Welfare Fraud Unit, with the assistance of the Herkimer County Department of Social Services, arrested Michele K. Tackett, Age 47, of Little Falls NY, charging her with Welfare Fraud in the 3rd degree and Grand Larceny in the 3rd degree, both class D felonies. Tackett allegedly received $3,238.53 in New York State Temporary Assistance Program benefits between September 25th, 2015 and March 31st, 2016 in which she was not entitled to receive.
