Molly Ladouceur and Samantha Stinson will be hosting a musical camp at Pickens Hall July 10 to 15. The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and will wrap up with a performance at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 15. Students entering grades six through nine are invited to attend.

    A Norwood man was sentenced to prison Monday in St. Lawrence County Court after he violated his 2016 probation sentence for his criminal contempt conviction. Anthony J. Fey Jr. , 49, of 2 Pleasant St., was sentenced to 1 to 3 years in prison following his April 11 admission to violating his April 11, 2015 sentence to five years of probation for his conviction of two counts of first-degree criminal contempt in a plea deal with the district attorney's office.

    Members of Morristown and Brier Hill volunteer fire departments have been working together to slow flooding to homes and camps along the St. Lawrence River because of rising waters. In the course of two hours Sunday, about 1,000 sandbags were filled by 40 volunteers from both departments and several community members, and they were to be back at it again Monday night, Morristown Fire Chief Kevin J. Crosby said.
