    LINKWOOD , Md.- Maryland State Police say a tractor-trailer transporting propane overturned Wednesday morning on Route 50 near Linkwood in Dorchester County. Troopers responded to the single-vehicle accident just after 5 a.m. Police said Route 50 is still shut down in both directions near Beaver Neck Village Road.

    CAMBRIDGE , Md.- The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of a fire that caused extensive damage to a Cambridge home late Tuesday night. According to fire officials, a neighbor discovered the fire at 649 High Street at around 11:25 p.m. Twenty-five firefighters from the Rescue, Church Creek, Linkwood and East New Market fire departments got the blaze under control in approximately 25 minutes.

    The Maryland Department of Natural Resources said it is accepting bids for the 2014-2015 trapping seasons at Ellis Bay, Fishing Bay, Idylwild, LeCompte, Linkwood, Nanticoke River, Taylor's Island, and Wetipquin Wildlife Management Areas . DNR said applicants must pick up bid packages at LeCompte Wildlife Management Area at 4220 Steeles Neck Road, Vienna, Md.
