The event, sponsored by Five Town Basketball, attracted 12 high school girls basketball teams from around the state for a three-day tournament.

    A Lincolnville woman has been charged with arson after a stolen vehicle from Rockport was found torched July 16 in Cape Elizabeth, according to Rockport Police. Cape Elizabeth and the State Fire Marshal's office arrested Melanie Vangel, 20, July 16 for two counts of arson, a class A felony, and unauthorized use of property after a vehicle stolen from Rockport late Friday or early Saturday was found burned in Cape Elizabeth, according to Interim Rockport Police Chief Randy Gagne.
