    A Lincoln County man was arrested after police said he arranged a meeting with an undercover detective posing as an underage person. On Wednesday around 10:45 a.m. Tracy Alan Schmitz was arrested and charged with soliciting a minor by a computer for sexual activity and appearing, according to Lincolnton deputies.

    A Gastonia man, who is an instructor at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in Charlotte, is accused of attempting to meet a detective posing as a 14-year-old child to have sex. Thirty-six-year-old Michael Robert Geressy, aka "Doc Geressy," appeared to be dressed like a character from the movie "Men in Black" when he showed up at the meeting location.

Pless was arrested on five charges related to the sale and possession of controlled substances and taken to the Lincoln County Jail with a $15,000 secured bond.
