    United States Attorney, Deborah R. Gilg, announced in a release Tuesday, that on January 21, 2016, an indictment was unsealed charging Tiffany Alice Wolfe, 32, of Lincoln, with conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute 500 grams or more of a substance containing methamphetamine between September 1, 2013, and December 8, 2015. The charge carries a possible penalty of not less than 10 years, and not more than life imprisonment, and a fine of up to $10,000,000.

All of it made for a busy day for Lincoln Fire and Rescue Captain Rick Schneider with LFR said they had responded to around 45 calls between 8 AM and 3 PM this afternoon, with that number surely going up as the day went on, but he says it's all apart of living in Nebraska, "...weather influences a lot we do, but you know, we live in Nebraska, so there's preparations and things that already happen with the road crews out, doing what they do, putting chains on the rigs helps out getting us around.

    A Lincoln man was killed in a traffic accident near Mahoney State Park on Thursday. He is identified as Michael S. Briones, 25. The accident happened on Nebraska Highway 66 at the curve a mile west of the park shortly before 9 a.m. According to Cass County Sheriff William Brueggemann, Briones was driving a straight truck with a van box and it crossed the centerline.
