Liberty Township fire crews were dispatched to 2023 Crispell Rd at 3 a.m. after being alerted to a smoke detector in the home that had gone off, Liberty Township Fire Chief Brandon Hughes said. Crews arrived at the residence, which was the office for the Shady Acers Campgrounds, to heavy smoke and flames pouring out of the attic, Hughes said.
