    A 23-year-old Easley man who tried to steal a van ended up being pursued by the owners and held at gunpoint until authorities arrived, according to the Anderson County Sheriff's Office. The owner of the van, Justin Richey, was working on renovations at the Home with a Heart Rehabilitation Center on James Mattison Road in Liberty at about 5:20 p.m. Monday when a man, later identified as Alan Jacob Gunter, get into his Honda Odyssey and drive it away.
