They posted wins over Excel U12 , Carolina Islander Boys 12 , Charleston Juniors 12 Red , High Velocity 12 , Charleston Juniors 12 Red , and Carolina Islander Boys 12 in the finals .

    Jermaine Fields, 36, of 219 Sanders Road in Liberty, was arrested at his place of employment on Jan. 28 and charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor in connection with an investigation by the Pickens County Sheriff's Office. According to the PCSO, an investigation was started Nov. 16, 2015, into allegations that a teenager had been sexually molested on numerous occasions over a two-year period dating back to 2013.

Department of Health and Environmental Control, stating their opposition to a permit variance request that would allow the disposal of coal ash at a landfill in Liberty. The letter, written by Sen. Larry Martin and dated Dec. 29, 2015, cites the delegation's vehement opposition and is signed by Martin and Rep. David Hiott.

    A Pickens County woman and an Oconee County woman were charged with unlawful neglect of a child after an investigation revealed that a child in their care had been exposed to methamphetamine, according to the Pickens County Sheriff's Office. Sheena Elizabeth Liddy, 27, of 720 Knox Road in Seneca, and Andrea Johnson, 47, of 411 Pine Thicket Road in Liberty, turned themselves in on Dec. 9 and were released the following day on $15,000 personal recognizance bonds.
