    Liberty, IN and graduated from Short High School in 1947. Homer graduated from Earlham College in 1951 with majors in mathematics and physics, he worked in NATCO engineering department and operated his father's farm from 1951 to 1953 and married his Earlham classmate Patricia Bailey in 1952. Homer worked in the sales department at Richmond Homes Inc. from 1953 to 1955. He began his life in education in September 1955 at Dixon - Israel School teaching science and mathematics, he then moved to Short High School in Liberty, Indiana teaching science and mathematics again from 1956 to 1958, he made his final move to Richmond High School in 1958 teaching physics and mathematics teaching only physics from 1961 to 1978 and served as RCS science department chairman. He received a Master's Degree in physics from Ball State in 1962 and taught physics for several years at IU East when it was located at Earlham College. During this period, he also served as T.V. coordinator for RCS from 1978 to his retirement in 1990. During this time the first T.V. studio at RHS was assembled. He spent his retirement maintaining real estate, reading history and building models of airplanes involved in WWII. Homer is survived by his wife, Pat; two brothers William (Jane) and Roy (Faye); niece Mary Helen (William) Misenheimer; four nephews Greg (Ellen), Gordon (Jan), Gary (Beth) and Melvin (Jeanne). The funeral service will be held in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary on Friday (February 20, 2015). Services will be private for family and long-time friends due to his wife's poor health. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery on Friday (February 20, 2015) following the service.

    Liberty, died Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Golden Living Golden Rule Nursing Home in Richmond. John was born in Hartford City, Indiana, on September 14, 1925, to Dr. John C. and Enid Orr Rhonemus. John was a 1943 graduate of Short High School. A World War II Veteran, John enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corps in Richmond on July 6, 1943, and proudly served his country in the Southwest Pacific from June 24, 1944 to March 25, 1945. John was involved in the fighting at Iwo Jima and was one of the three survivors left in his group. On June 10, 1951, John married Glenna Dance in Liberty and was employed as a Supervisor at Dana Corporation, retiring after thirty years of service. John was a member of Edwards Memorial United Methodist Church, American Legion Post #122 and VFW Post # 1472 both of Liberty, 40 & 8 # 1040 in Connersville, and the Marine Corps League of Richmond. John enjoyed riding his motorcycle and using ham radios. John is survived by a son Dr. Jeffrey Rhonemus and wife Dianne of Liberty; two grandchildren: Alison Rhonemus and Brian Rhonemus and wife Erica. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of sixty-one years, who died February 3, 2013; and a sister Lora Jean Sheridan. Private graveside services will be conducted at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Wayne County at the convenience of the family with Rev. Scott Bell of Edwards Memorial United Methodist Church officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Marine Corps, American Legion Post # 122 and the VFW Post 1472 of Liberty. Memorial contributions may be made to Edwards United Methodist Church 4 W. Seminary St. Liberty, IN 47353 or to Union County Foundation for the J. Louis Stanley Fund 404 Eaton St. Liberty, IN 47353.     Liberty Indiana, Raymond Meeks (wife, Sheila) of Punta Gorda, Florida and Cheryl Beatty (husband, Tim) of Hagerstown. Charlene was talented in music, singing and a lover of live theatre and the arts. She was an avid stock car race fan and followed the Bicknell Race Team, Baystone Construction Racing Team and ASA Racing, as well as NASCAR. She and her husband were the developer's owner-operators of Prairie Creek Campground (now Mt. Pleasant Campground) which they ran for sixteen years. Charlene and Bob were avid travelers. After extensively traveling the United States, they chose Siesta Key, Florida as their spot for vacation home. Charlene was active in Republican politics and volunteered for Congressman David McIntosh. Her first campaign involvement was on behalf of Congressman David W. Dennis of Richmond, Indiana. Charlene was a member of Pleasant Hill United Brethren Church and in later years attended Harris Chapel Church of the Nazarene. Special appreciation goes to Sharon Hofherr, LPN, retired from Golden Living Nursing Care facility for her outstanding professionalism and dedicated care. Private graveside services will be held Tuesday at Willow Grove Cemetery in Fountain City, Indiana, by Pastor Jim Ballenger of Harris Chapel.
