Tyreese Dwan Glascho, Paris Malik Moody, Stanley Lamont Sanders and Franklin Peon Briggs Jr. have each been charged with six counts of larceny/breaking into a motor vehicle, and one count each of grand larceny and criminal conspiracy.

On August 1, 2016, South Carolina DHEC denied CWS' application for National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit due to its past history of violation at its I-20 plant.
