    Despite a fire that left smoke, water and fire damage in its wake, employees at the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's Juniata County Maintenance are at work this week. Fourteen office and garage staff at the Mifflintown building have been temporarily re-located to the Mifflin County office in Lewistown, while 35 road and bridge crew employees continue to work out of their respective Juniata County stockpile locations.

    A barking dog alerted its firefighter owner to the fire at PennDOT's Juniata County maintenance building in Mifflintown Friday, which has forced the relocation of workers to Lewistown. The cause of the early morning fire Friday, which started in the stock room, is still under investigation, said Trooper Scott Swasing, state police fire marshal at Rockview barracks in Centre County.

    According to a press release from the Lewistown Police Department, officers responded to a call at 9:48 p.m. on North Grand Street for an indecent exposure complaint. According to police, Ian Grassmyer, 30, of Lewistown, had allegedly exposed his genitals to several juveniles.
