    Authorities said they identified a Leominster man as a suspect within hours of a bank robbery Wednesday morning.  Steven Jacobbe, 46, of 45 Laurie Drive, Apt. B, was arrested Thursday afternoon at Mr. Mike's Convenience Store on Main Street and was taken into custody without incident, police said.

    DNA recovered from the scene of former Leominster resident Vaness Marcotte's murder in Princeton in August has positively identified "a person of interest," Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr. announced Thursday. While there are no matches of the DNA with anyone tested who has been convicted of a felony throughout the U.S., he described the person of interest as a Hispanic or Latino man in his 30s, with an athletic build and who either was bald or had short hair at the time of the Aug. 7 murder and would have had visible scratches on his head or his upper body.
