Blount County Sheriff's Office Deputy Lisa Hoard resigned May 2, several weeks after chatter in the jail romantically linked the 18-year BCSO veteran and jail investigator with a convicted felon - one who's spent a number of years in and out of the facility thanks to a lengthy criminal history dating back over a decade.
