    By a unanimous measure, borough council this week agreed to provide a letter of support to Carbon County Commissioners for a grant application for the proposed training center for both fire and law enforcement. Council's decision came after it heard from Carbon County Commissioners' Chairman Wayne Nothstein, who told them he was there to answer any questions regarding the new training facility.

Newhard of Jim Thorpe, effective May 22. Both Breiner and Newhard are also temporary parking attendants as well.
