    St. Gregory's Abbey is recruiting volunteers for a "book brigade" to move approximately 13,000 religion, philosophy and theology books from the former St. Gregory's University library to the abbey conference center library in an adjacent building. "The Great Book Pass" will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 13. Some 200 to 300 volunteers are needed to pass the books hand-to-hand.
