Hartling as the new superintendent of schools, contingent on the successful completion of his background investigation, verification of his certification, and negotiation of his contract. He will be replacing former Superintendent Cathy Patterson who has been the Interim Superintendent since her retirement in June following school district service for the past 28 years.
