    A LaPlace man has been found guilty of murder for the 2013 shooting death of Anthony Young in a Reserve bar, according to the St. John the Baptist Parish District Attorney's office. Kenneth Hicks, 51, will be sentenced on Feb. 22. The 12-person jury convicted Hicks of second-degree murder following a three-day trial in Edgard before ad hoc district Judge Michael Kirby, according to a statement issued by St. John District Attorney Bridget Dinvaut.
