    According to Lansing Township Police Chief, Kay Hoffman the limo was traveling Northbound on U.S 127 near Lake Lansing Road around 11:30 p.m. Saturday when the gun went off, sending a bullet into the dashboard. According to Hoffman, the limo driver missed the Lake Lansing exit and slammed on the breaks, sending a passenger in the back flying into the dashboard somehow causing the gun to go off.
