    Before taking a vote to sign this year's upcoming Special and Annual Town Meeting warrants, the selectmen had a separate discussion on whether or not to include an article on the Freetown-Lakeville Regional School District's proposed borrowing of $510,000 for repairs and maintenance of the district swimming pool at George R. Austin Intermediate School , ultimately deciding that it was something the townspeople should be given the opportunity to decide on. As was explained during the discussion, the Lakeville and Freetown Boards of Selectmen have a chance to decide to put capital requests of the regional school district to a town meeting vote or not.
