Devroe swept the sprints and joined Jared Gray, Josiah Welch and Mac Nuanez to win the 4x400 . Devroe's time in the 400 is the best among 3A runners this spring, and the relay time is sixth.

    The Oak Harbor High School girls golf team finished in the middle of the pack of the annual Whidbey Shootout Tuesday, March 24, at the Whidbey Golf Club. Kamiak easily won the 13-team tournament with 468 strokes, followed by Lake Stevens , Snohomish , Bellingham , Glacier Peak , Jackson , Oak Harbor , Arlington , Marysville Getchell , Meadowdale , Shorewood , Sehome and Shorecrest .

    A win in second singles was the only point for Oak Harbor in its season-opening 6-1 loss to the visiting Lake Stevens High School tennis team Tuesday, March 17. AnnaBelle Whitefoot picked up the Oak Harbor point. After winning the first set 6-2, she registered one of the day's only two shutouts with a 6-0 win in the second.

    The Oak Harbor High School boys golf team shot just well enough to eke out a win in a four-team match at the Whidbey Golf Club Monday, March 16. The Wildcats finished with 450 strokes, two better than Lake Stevens and three better than Monroe. Edmonds-Woodway had 473.

    The Oak Harbor High School swim team opened its season by winning twice in a four-team meet at the Snohomish Aquatic Center Tuesday, Dec. 9. Joe Gorman was the lone Oak Harbor swimmer to record the best time among the four schools in an event, winning the 500-yard freestyle in 5:33.77. He was also third in the 200 freestyle .
