    Police are crediting social media and tips from the public for their arrest of four people who have admitted to defacing signs and property along an Oakland County trail. Lt. Dan Toth of the Oakland County Sheriff's Office Lake Orion said the department received between 40 and 50 tips that led to the identification of the suspects, who are all between the ages of 17 and 21 and are from Oakland County.

Oakland County Prosecutor Jessica Cooper's office charged Donald W. Barnes III with felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute after sheriff's officials arrested him following the discovery of large amounts of marijuana during searches at warehouses in Waterford and Lake Orion in February 2016.
