    Police officials and the Lake Junaluska community have been left scratching their heads as to why someone would shoot a swan with a crossbow. According to the Haywood County Sheriff's Office, a swan was found floating in the lake with an arrow from a crossbow in it at about 1:20 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 11. "I'm really upset right now because the swan was part of a pair," said Lake Junaluska resident Ken Zulla, who helped find the body of the swan after law enforcement officials received a report of a dead swan.
