Walter Lender, executive director of the association in a press release Monday.

Arabic when it was sunk off the coast of Ireland while en route to New York by a German U-boat just a few months after the Lusitania was torpedoed. Two Americans were listed among the dead in the disaster, but Roode's family received word that he was safe.
