Deputies said they were called to the fort on Canada Street at 4:15 a.m. for a group of teens walking around the property who appeared suspicious.

Answer: Hiking uphill through a primitive forest, sweating and shivering in the rain, to witness, at no cost and for as long as you like, the view of a mist-shrouded lake surrounded by an unending green carpet of primitive forest. That vast oversimplification occurred to me this week as my wife's Colombian family wrapped up its first visit to the United States-a trip that took them from Disney World to the canyons of Manhattan, from the white monuments of D.C. to a Ben and Jerry's in Saratoga.
