Despite the setbacks, coach Corey Brown said early last week that his team has made good progress this season and that the team presented going into Week 10 would easily have the edge over the team that beat Bolsa Grande in Week 1. Laguna Beach led at halftime, 14-7, and used its ground game to pound Calvary Chapel.
