Investigators say Rene Vega, 30, of Hopatcong, was driving a 2003 Ford E250 utility van north on Woodside Avenue when his cell phone fell to the floor.

    Troy Leonard, 31, of Franklin Lakes, pleaded guilty to eight counts of second-degree sexual assault and one count of second-degree health care claims fraud, the Sussex County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. Leonard admitted to having sexual contact against eight children under the age of 13 while he served as their behavioral therapist.

    SPARTA - A man who was wanted on a theft charge told authorities he felt the "pressure" to turn himself in after his photo, alleged crime and his proclivity for dressing as a woman were released on the State Police's Facebook page . Michael Mathews, 46, of Sparta, turned himself in at the State Police station in Sussex on Friday, according to the State Police.
