    In a effort to control the growing stray and feral cat population, after decades of inefficient, ineffective trap and kill, Lafayette Indiana city council approves and implements a TNR, trap, neuter, release program this past Monday, November 3rd 2014. The ordinance encourages residents to register as colony caretakers, trap feral or stray cats and take them to The Humane Society to have them neutered, ear-tipped and vaccinated.
