    Investigators have arrested a man they say asked to see a rifle at a Ladson pawn shop, loaded it with ammo he brought and opened fire. His arrest stems from an incident at 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday when deputies with the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of shots fired at Big Buck's Pawn Shop on 113 College Park Rd. According to the sheriff's office, while inspecting the rifle, the suspect took out a loaded magazine for the rifle that he had on him and inserted it into the AR-15.

    Unsealed documents released Tuesday reveal an 18-year-old Ladson man charged with attempting to join ISIS was willing to commit a terrorist attack on U.S. soil and also referenced the 2016 Orlando nightclub shooting. Zakaryia Abdin, whose family is from Syria, was arrested at the Charleston International Airport last Thursday night, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Lance Crick.
