    A New Hampshire man who was being sought for six recent bank robberies, including a heist at the Lowell Five branch in Pepperell, was arrested without incident in Lawrence Wednesday night, according to the FBI. Earlier in the week, police and the FBI had sought the public's help with locating Chaka Meredith, 41, of Laconia, N.H. On Wednesday at 8:45 p.m., the FBI's Boston bureau tweeted that Meredith was arrested in Lawrence by local police, state police, Plaistow, N.H. police and FBI agents.

    Police are seeking the public's assistance in locating a man suspected of robbed six banks last month, including a Lowell Five Bank in Pepperell. Chaka Meredith, 41, allegedly robbed banks in Jamaica Plain and Lawrence, as well as Laconia and Plaistow, New Hampshire.

The final vote by the trustees was 7-4 in favor of Van Hooven over William Hart, the current CEO of the Massachusetts Community Colleges Executive Offices.
